The GEN2 LiFePO4 Battery with Integrated A123 Emulator is a proven lightweight replacement for McLaren models equipped with the factory A123 lithium battery system.
Designed specifically for 540C, 570S, 570GT, 600LT, 675LT and early 720S, this system ensures full compatibility with McLaren’s sensitive battery management architecture. Unlike conventional replacements, the integrated A123 emulator prevents common issues such as warning lights, charging faults, and restricted vehicle functionality.
Utilising advanced Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) technology, the GEN2 battery offers a strong balance of weight reduction, cranking performance, and long-term reliability. It delivers stable voltage output required by McLaren’s electronics while maintaining dependable starting performance in both road and track environments.
