The GEN1 Replacement LiFePO4 Battery with Integrated A123 Emulator is a purpose-built upgrade for McLaren models originally equipped with the factory GEN1 lithium battery system.
Designed specifically for McLaren 12C, 650S and 650 Can-Am, this battery provides a direct replacement solution with no coding or modification required. The integrated JWM-developed A123 emulator communicates directly with the vehicle’s Body Control ECU, ensuring no warning lights, no error messages, and full OEM system compatibility.
Compared to the original McLaren GEN1 battery, this upgraded solution delivers a substantial increase in performance. With 110Ah lithium capacity vs 70Ah OEM, and 2100CCA vs approximately 400CCA, it provides significantly improved starting power and reliability — particularly beneficial for vehicles that are used intermittently.
