The JWM PS-019 LiFePO4 Battery is a high-performance lightweight upgrade designed as a direct replacement for vehicles using a Type 019 lead acid battery, including the Porsche 991 (991.1 and 991.2).
Built using advanced Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) technology, the PS-019 offers significant performance advantages over conventional batteries — including faster recharge rates, higher cranking power, and dramatically improved lifespan.
Despite maintaining the same physical dimensions as OEM batteries, the PS-019 delivers substantial weight savings of approximately 12kg, reducing overall vehicle mass while improving reliability and usability.
For enhanced functionality, the battery is available with JWM Restart Technology, which integrates a secondary backup battery system. If the main battery becomes discharged — often due to infrequent use — the reserve can be activated via the onboard reset button, allowing the vehicle to be restarted instantly.
Manufactured to Motorsport UK (MSA) standards, this battery is suitable for both high-performance road use and competitive applications.
