The GEN1 RESTART Replacement LiFePO4 Battery with Integrated A123 Emulator is a high-performance upgrade designed specifically for McLaren models equipped with the factory GEN1 lithium battery system.
Developed for McLaren 12C, 650S and 650 Can-Am, this battery provides a direct replacement solution with no coding or modification required. A bespoke JWM-designed embedded A123 emulator ensures seamless communication with the vehicle’s Body Control ECU — eliminating warning lights, error messages, and compatibility issues.
Delivering a substantial performance increase over the OEM battery, this system offers 110Ah lithium capacity (vs 70Ah OEM) and 2100CCA (vs ~400CCA OEM) — providing dramatically improved starting performance and reliability.
This RESTART variant features an integrated backup system, allowing the vehicle to be restarted without an external jump pack if the main battery becomes discharged. Simply follow the onboard reset procedure to restore starting capability — ideal for vehicles that are not used regularly.
