The IPE Valvetronic Cat Back Exhaust System is engineered to transform the driving experience of the Porsche 718 Cayman and Boxster (982), delivering measurable performance gains alongside a significantly enhanced exhaust note.
Constructed from high-grade stainless steel, this system replaces the factory rear exhaust section with a free-flowing design, reducing back pressure and improving exhaust efficiency. chrome silver tips as standard, optional Titanium Blue, Chrome Black and Carbon fibre are available at an additional cost.
With dyno-proven gains of +13.7HP at 6400RPM and +20.38Nm at 4500RPM, the system improves both top-end performance and mid-range response, making the car feel more responsive across the rev range.
At the core of the system is IPE’s valvetronic technology, allowing drivers to control exhaust sound on demand. With the valves closed, the system remains refined for daily driving. Open the valves, and it delivers a sharper, more aggressive tone, bringing out the true character of the turbocharged flat-four engine.
In addition to performance gains, the system achieves a 5.79kg weight reduction (22.2% lighter than OEM), contributing to improved handling and overall vehicle dynamics.
