Ferodo DS1.11 Front Brake Pad Set – Porsche 996 GT3 (2003–2005)
Ferodo DS1.11 front brake pad set engineered for Porsche 996 GT3 models. A professional-grade endurance racing compound offering exceptional fade resistance, long pad life and consistent braking performance under extreme track conditions.
Product Description
The Ferodo DS1.11 Front Brake Pad Set is a premium endurance racing compound developed for high-performance and motorsport applications. Designed for vehicles such as the Porsche 996 GT3, the DS1.11 compound delivers extremely consistent braking performance across a wide temperature range, making it a trusted choice for professional teams and serious track drivers.
Utilising a siloxane-based friction material, the DS1.11 compound maintains braking performance even at extreme temperatures where conventional pads begin to degrade. This technology allows the pad to maintain a stable friction coefficient and predictable pedal feel throughout long track sessions or endurance racing.
With a flat torque curve and medium-high friction level, the DS1.11 provides exceptional modulation and driver confidence in demanding braking zones. Its low compressibility ensures a short, consistent pedal stroke while also being relatively kind to brake discs compared with many aggressive race compounds.
Designed primarily for track use, the DS1.11 compound is capable of operating within a working temperature range of approximately 200°C – 750°C, with an average friction coefficient of around 0.46, delivering repeatable braking performance lap after lap.
This makes the DS1.11 an ideal upgrade for Porsche GT models used in track days, sprint racing and endurance events where reliability, consistency and pad longevity are critical.
Note: DS1.11 is a track-focused compound and is generally not recommended for road use.
