Product Description

The BMC FB416/16 Performance Air Filter is a direct-replacement high-flow air filter designed for Porsche 987 Boxster and Cayman models. Engineered using BMC’s motorsport-derived filtration technology, this reusable filter improves airflow while maintaining superior filtration efficiency.

Constructed from multi-layer cotton gauze soaked in low-viscosity oil, the filter is supported by an epoxy-coated alloy mesh to maximise durability and filtration performance. This design allows increased airflow compared with conventional paper filters while effectively capturing particles as small as 7 microns.

BMC’s unique Full Moulding manufacturing process produces the filter from a single mould without welded joints, improving structural strength and longevity.

Unlike disposable OEM paper filters, the FB416/16 is washable and reusable, allowing it to be cleaned and re-oiled using a BMC regeneration kit. This reduces maintenance costs while maintaining optimal engine performance.

Ideal for both road and track use, the BMC FB416/16 offers improved airflow, enhanced throttle response and long-term reliability for Porsche flat-six engines.
